Our Story:
A Tale Of Two Wanderers
The Wild Elopement Co was founded in 2023 by Lukas and Victoria Baker. Their story is a classic modern love story. She was a portrait photographer in London, and he was a forester based in Nannup. Meeting at a campsite in Coral Bay while Victoria was backpacking and Lukas was on a boy's fishing trip, they knew they had found something special.
The Wild Elopement Co was built on a foundation of love and a passion for adventure. With a background in environmental management, Lukas has years of off-roading, exploring and adventure experience. And Victoria now a wedding photographer with 12 years experience in the south west under her belt; together they wanted to show you the how amazing the South West of WA is and how easy it should be to elope!
In 2025 they extended their wild elopement family, bringing in another amazing photog - Rowan (from Love and Legends,) Emilie; the queen of organisation, Mark who is the kind of gentleman you'd expect in a landrover - plus his driving skills aren't too shabby! And Kate, the team celebrant! She is down to earth, has great banter, and will create both an amazing and memorable ceremony for you whilst guiding you through the legal process. Consider her your fairy godmother!!

Lukas' knowledge of the local area is second to none. Victoria’s gentle direction and easy-going manner were transformative. She has a real gift for reading people. Even when we were distracted or feeling a bit silly, she managed to guide us effortlessly and keep us feeling totally elated and relaxed while still achieving her photographic vision.
It’s clear the effort they put in beforehand, the questionnaires and personalized check-ins, was what allowed Victoria and Lukas to create such a unique and memorable day for us.
The result was a wedding experience that has set us firmly on cloud nine. A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

Absolutely Perfect Elopement Experience!
Our wedding day was truly effortless, thanks to this incredible elopement company. Everything was organized for us, and we barely had to lift a finger, it was a dream come true! We chose the Deluxe Package, and it was worth every bit. From start to finish, the day was perfect. The photos captured every beautiful moment, the dinner at De'sendent was exquisite, and the accommodation at 8 Paddocks was beyond amazing. For anyone considering an intimate wedding or elopement, whether it’s just the two of you or something small and special, I highly recommend this team. I can’t even put into words how enjoyable our elopement experience was! Victoria is the most amazing wedding coordinator photographer extraordinaire! Everything in the lead up was extremely organised and I loved knowing exactly what was happening, when, where and why. We loved seeing parts of Pemberton we probably wouldn’t have ever been able to see. Plus the photographs Victoria captured were incredible and were obsessed with them.
